janson.com Schloss Schörnborn is more than just a golf club. Playing at Schörnborn is an encounter with Austrian history every step of the way. The magnificently restored castle that is available to the club today was built between 1712 and 1717 by Lukas von Hildebrandt as the summer residence for the then Imperial Vice Chancellor, Friedrich Karl von Schönborn. Experiencing sport and nature come together on the 104 hectare castle grounds – the site of the golf course opened in 1989. In contrast to many other golf courses, the landscape was not artificially modelled but perfectly utilized as an existing framework. The stylish atmosphere of both the castle and grounds also makes its mark on the club. The woods with their old trees always come into play on the 18-hole course in the castle grounds, and are always a challenge for the golfer. In particular the large oak tree that stands exactly in the centre of the 18th fairway, is already a prominent landmark for the tee-off hole on the red course.

The 70 ha. park is in the middle of an historical deer reserve. How Can I Improve My Golf Swing – The Second Most Frequently Uttered Golf Phrase

During all the time that I’ve spent on the golf course, ‘how can I improve my golf swing’ is among the second most frequent phrases you hear on the golf course. The most common phrases you hear involve a lot of expletives that can’t be printed here. But I’ll talk about that in another article.

I have an obsession for the game of golf (at least that is what my wife says). My current goal in life is golf. I frequently ask myself, ‘how can I improve my golf swing.’ I understand that I will probably never be anywhere near as good as a professional golfer, but I spend time studying their style and strategies just the same. Also, I also like to study golfing stats and I attempt to use that information to how can I improve my golf swing. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it winds up being useless trivia.

As an example, did you know that the majority of the finest scratch golfers in the world miss an average of six greens in any given round? That’s one in three, maybe it’s just me, but that number doesn’t appear too good to me. So, with that stat in mind, maybe there is hope for me yet.

So, how can I improve my golf swing? Well, actually, I’ve used a number of methods to make some improvements. The first thing I’d tell you if you are just starting out is to take some lessons. It is the one thing I found to significantly improve my golf swing, and my game in general. Although this may sound obvious to you, many people think that they can learn the game on their own, without the help of a good instructor. But if want to be a good golfer and really improve your game, you absolutely need a good instructor to show you the fundamentals.

Early in my golf career, I asked anyone I found on the golf course how can I improve my golf swing.

Many of them said that I could improve my golf swing by employing correct swing mechanics and overcoming golf swing inertia. But, because I was so new to the game, I had no clue what they were talking about. The key to a good golf swing is to find an easy technique that works for you and practice, practice, practice.

I was also able to improve my golf game by videotaping my swing and then playing it back in slow motion. Although initially the recording was very unpleasant to look at, it made it easy to isolate lots of problem areas pretty fast. This has the advantage of allowing you to upload your video to the Net and post it on some of the larger golf forums to have your techniques critiqued by more experienced players.
